One of the few products that actually delivers on it's promise. I purchased the deep drop electric reel Abyss battery for the new 2023 CA fishing regulations of fishing unlimited depth. Simply put, a game changer. Compact size, easy to hook up to the reel and lasted all day. After 6 hours of straight deep drop at 800-1000 feet, I still had 80% charge on my battery. No more clunky wires on my deck and potentially saving my boat's battery. The Abyss battery is so good, I referred a friend, who just bought one. FYI for anglers on charters in CA, the captain and crew will most likely not let you hook up to power on their boats if you have an electric reel, plus you would need a very long power cord. This battery is a must for charters or else reel up from 700 feet by hand.
24 ft center console, running Minn Kota Riptide Terrova. Weight approximately 5200lbs with crew, gear, and fuel. Fished 10
hrs in 10-15 knot winds, 3-5 foot seas. Spotlock kept us on the wrecks, and Abyss battery still had 31% left, when we got back to the dock. Happy with purchase.

I started using my 36v Abyss battery for my trolling motor on my airboat a few months ago. Normally for an airboat, a 36v trolling motor is unheard of because of the weight factor. I figured I'd give it a try and "Holy Cow"!!! I couldn't believe the power and how long the charges last. The battery practically weighs nothing compared to having 3 deep cycle marine batteries for the same volts with a charge that doesn't last as long.
I've been using them for months now and absolutely love them!

Great setup for a trolling motor!
Got this battery for a deep drop trip in California. Was simply amazing the battery is a workhorse all day. Did drops for 6 plus hours in 600 feet of water and didn’t drop below 70% charge !
My battery has work well, as expected dropping in 1200’… some of our guests will probably be ordering for their reels
