Trey McKinney 

At just 19 years old, Trey McKinney has already become one of the most electrifying young competitors in bass fishing. Hailing from Carbondale, Illinois, Trey has turned heads across the Bassmaster Elite Series with historic milestones that most anglers spend decades chasing.

In 2024, Trey captured theBassmaster Elite Series Rookie of the Year title, a feat that made him theyoungest ROY winnerin the Elite Series’ history — proof that age is just a number when excellence hits the water. He didn’t just compete; he competed at the highest level, snagging a win and racking up huge weights on the biggest stages. Over the season, he even ran close to securing theAngler of the Year title, showcasing seasoned skill with a teenager’s fearlessness yet unmatched focus.

Drew Benton

When it comes to consistency, creativity, and competitive longevity, Drew Benton is a name every serious angler respects. A Panama City, Florida native, Drew has been grinding on the Bassmaster Elite Series for over a decade, turning early passion into elite performance on some of the toughest water in tournament fishing. 

Drew’s resume speaks for itself. He earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2018, proving he belonged among the sport’s best right away, and followed it up with multiple wins on the Elite Series. Notably, Drew claimed
Elite Series victories including a standout performance at Lake Murray, where strategy, patience, and sight fishing precision led him from 10th to champ over four days of intense competition. 

What sets Drew apart is his blend of veteran intuition and adaptive fishing — whether sight fishing beds, grinding out patterns, or reading tough conditions that challenge even the most experienced anglers.

His track record of 13+ Top 10 Elite finishes and multiple Elite wins makes him a cornerstone competitor and an inspiration to anglers pushing their own boundaries.

Capt. Rick Murphy

A South Florida resident his entire life, Capt. Rick Murphy earned his reputation in the waters of Biscayne Bay, Everglades National Park and the Florida Keys by leading his clients to world-class catches and prestigious tournament victories.

One of only two fishing guides to win the four-event Keys Tarpon fly fishing series (The Golden Fly, The Don Hawley, The Gold Cup and The Ladies World Fly Championship), Murphy has crossed saltwater boundaries in the tournament genre to win events and Angler of the Year Honors in the ESPN, FLW and IFA Redfish Tours, as well as on the South Florida blue water Sailfish circuit.

In a nutshell, Capt. Rick Murphy loves to fish, and he doesn't care what the species is, as long at it will test your skill and sportsmanship to catch. He essentially is living the dream by earning a living doing what he loves most. In addition to his many duties as host of Sportsman's Adventures television show, Rick acts as a consultant to such well-known companies as Yamaha Motor Corporation USA, Contender Boats, Rapala Lures, Costa Del Mar Sunglasses and Maverick Boat Company. He also presents casting seminars and video presentations at fishing clubs, and makes appearances at key fishing and boat shows on behalf of his sponsors.

Capt. Mike Anderson

Captain Michael Anderson has been fishing and competing in tournaments on Tampa Bay and Florida waters for over 25 years. He has been guiding on the west coast of Florida for over 20 years and specializes in backcountry fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and Trout. Captain Mike is also the host of the Reel Animals Fishing Show TV version and has been doing fish radio for over 20 years.

Captain Blair Wiggins

Captain Blair was born In Florida and raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He grew up fishing the Indian River Lagoon System which includes Banana River, Indian River and the Mosquito Lagoon. Fishing this unique estuary help tone his skills in the fishing industry and a short drive across the causeway is put him in prime hunting areas for deer, turkey, ducks and all sorts of wildlife.
